The recently announced Shelby GT will not be the only new Mustang you see for sale in 2007 according to Motor Trend. It will be joined by two more Mustangs, a Bullitt and the much anticipated Boss Mustang. Yes it seems those 2008 Boss Mustang rumors were true. The Boss Mustang will get a tuned Hurricane Engine pushing out 425-435 Horsepower and will feature a stripped down interior, though air conditioning will be available, along with less sound deadening. Only 1000 Boss Mustangs will be produced in 2007 and the Boss Mustang will more than likely be a 2008 Model.

The 2008 Bullitt Mustang will be the best interpretation of the 1968 390 GT driven by Steve McQueen in the movie “Bullitt”. Insiders are reporting that the Bullitt will receive a plain grille without a galloping pony badge or spotlights, a black painted panel between the taillights and of course the car will be available in Highland Green.

Now what about that big redesign we keep hearing about? Well we got some new information in that area as well. Insiders tell us that the 2008 year will feature a de-tuned Hurricane engine in all Mustang GT’s. How de-tuned? “Slightly” is what we are hearing. If I had to guess I would look for a 350-375 Horsepower 2008 Mustang GT. 2008 will also be a face lift year for the Mustang getting all new interior pieces and a much more aggressive exterior for all models including the Shelby GT500. Ford isn’t done yet though. 2010 will see an all new Mustang. What does all new mean exactly? Well they aren’t revealing that just yet….
