Classic Design Concepts “Flashback” Mustang
The great classic muscle cars of the 60’s and 70’s have faded into the obscurity of time…… or have they? A revolutionary idea has Classic Design Concepts taking the look and feel of those distinguished cars of the past and incorporating the technology of the present. What does this odd combination produce? The Ford Mustang Flashback, a sleek ride complimented by all the latest gadget appeal without losing the presence of the top-notch 1967 Mustang. These vehicles aren’t a one shot attempt at recreating the past, they will be on sale in 2008.
George Huismen, creator of this hybrid between past and present, has focused on reviving this car with top of the line features without losing those key indications of the Mustang. CDC has been circulating some juicy rumors that the Flashback will be at or near the 600hp mark. Revving that engine up will never get old.
Potential Buyers will notice the wide array of features coming standard with this classic. Features such as a large increase in head and leg room, high capacity cooling systems, and even an external oil filter system will easily entice those who had the opportunity to ride in a classic Mustang. The stitched leather sport seats and a custom gauge package give that unique modern feel to this throwback.
Most Mustang fanatics should be head over heels knowing that the standard package also comes with the classic looking standard center console with the JVC Bongiovi stereo system melding in flawlessly. This standard package is loaded with features that most car owners dream of. One might wonder how there is any optional equipment with such a stacked standard car, but they will be surprised. The car has the option of dozens of high quality suspension options from RRS. The adjustable performance shocks and six piston calipers will only entice you to bring that envious neighbor over for a look under the hood. This car deserves to be shown off with that alone, and when you factor in that you can also equip the Flashback with the CDC Cowl Hood, which extracts heat, this car will be crying out for you to take it to the next car show. This car is a must grab any kid-at-heart born in the Baby Boom Era.
The bliss Baby Boomers remember so well is currently shown in four slightly different versions of the Flashback. Fear not, CDC will be adding the Flashback to its arsenal of quality cars in 2008. One would think creating a workable car by combining the look of the 1967 Mustang and the technology of the present would be hard enough, but using 100% Ford Products is a feat in its own right. This car is a must grab for any Baby Boomer looking to relish in the past!
