Buy It Now: 2008 Shelby GT500KR For $154,991.00

Not even a week has passed since Ford released the price of the 2008 Shelby GT500KR and we already have a dealership in Houston, Texas marking it up. This time it’s not just a 10-20,000 dollar markup though. Try almost double the MSRP of $79,995. Now whether or not someone would be insane enough to buy it at that price and make a sleezy dealership an extra $70,000 is up in the air, though I’m willing to bet they lower the price in the end. Like I said, this is not the last great car in the world to own.
That is Lamborghini Gallardo money.
In fact, I could buy 2 corvette Z06 with that money and still have spare cash.
My best advise!!!
- Buy a BMW M5, it can easily get to 200mph in a few seconds. The KR cant even go past 190 mph.
- Buy a corvette, best value for money, and it can smoke the KR straight from the factory.
- Buy a Nissan GT-R. at US$ 70K Enough said. This can even crush a Z06 corvette, a Porsche 911 turbo, or ANY factory or Shelby MUSTANG!!!!
To dealers, please stop dreaming…..let’s face it.
The KR is just too much to bear. OVER-Priced.

it is clear that the guy claiming to be project_v6 nows nothing about cars. first, the GT 500 and KR are second to no one for quality, second, no other car on this planet will go up in value like a mustang with SHELBY on it. If you are into throwing money out the window you should buy your piece of corvette or volkswagon(porshe). Check your facts and find a better car, the all out maximum performance is not everything. The money you might save on the vette is lost almost instantly on resale value. The only cars built worse than GM’s are the europeans. Jap cars are not worth a comment.

lashbera berbera is just a dreamer. Like I said, for a $150K car, KR won’t even compare with any car on that price range or even BELOW that price. You talk of value in the future? Well how about restoration cost? Storage cost? DID YOU EVEN CHECK your SPELLING???? How is Porsche spelled? How is KNOWS (your nows) spelled? Lashbera, YOU SHOULD GO BACK TO ELEMENTARY or HIGH SCHOOL EDUCATION so YOU WOULD KNOW HOW TO SPELL! JAP CARS not worth a comment? Look at almost 1 in every 3 americans…they are driving hondas,acuras,infinitis, toyotas or subarus or other jap made cars. Look at NASCAR. KR has a value that is segmented to COLLECTORS ONLY. PERIOD. 60’s technology,Rear Axle, KR has ABSOLUTELY NO meaning if it underperforms. BY THE WAY, let US ALL know where you got your education. Maybe that will settle your unfounded comment. No other car in the planet would what?

Not to start alot of bullshit drama, but jap cars arent worth a comment. Its true that the KR is overpriced though. Personally I think we should give the cobra back to SVT so Shelby’s name doesnt bring the price up, because thats really what you are paying for.

Cobra svt would be a smart thing to do and be able to sell the new Shelby is never going to sell! the way the world is right now no one has that kinda money to be throwing around! i know i sure as hell dont’t!!!
