ford is trying to come out with a program where they put twin-turbos-chargers on all of their engine. ford is talking about 35-mpg of better for all the engines, because of the 2030 or so emissions mandate for all cars made that year and later to hasve 35-mpg or better gas mileage. anyone know the name for that program?

It does suck but... at least we got some retro style cars and good performance numbers before gas got to expensive and ruined everything.

Maybe an automatic throttle in the exhaust would also calibrate the tune under 4 cylinder mode?

Just my 2 cents

Hmmmmm...with displacement on demand, I wonder what my Corsa exhaust would sound like in 4 cylinder mode?

They need to find out a way to increase fuel efficiency for future V8. Automatic shut off of 4 cylinders (out of the 8 cylinders) during highway cruising and during traffic is a very nice option. Weight reduction and reducing air drag is also a nice option. There are really a lot of possibilities.

i think the next gen mustang wasn't going to get an engine larger then a 5.0 anyway. i know it sucks but it's not a good time to invest in large engines at the moment.
