2003 Deep Dish Cobra Rims Released
As many of you know the 2003 SVT Cobra wheels are some of the most popular style of Mustang wheels out there. For quite some time many owners have been asking for different sizes and a deep dish option for these wheels. Some companies came through, but only offered the OEM style wheel that is simply larger in width or in an 18 inch version vs the stock 17s. This leaves those who want a deep dish rim but love the style of the 2003 Cobra rims out in the cold.
Many were let down at the first deep dish wheel attempt where the spokes on the rims were not accurately shaped. Fear no more, the new deep dish cobra wheels are the real deal! They look as close to the stock rims as you can get and still maintain the correct setup for a deep dish wheel to look right. The only real issue most seem to have is that when going with a deep dish rim the visual effect makes the rim look smaller than it really is. Some are asking for an 18 inch version of the deep dish rim. I also hope that they come through on this as I feel an 18 inch rim would look better overall.
Also note, if you want to run the deep dish rim with the OEM stock front rims you may wish to rethink that. The OEM fronts don’t flow right with the deep dish rears visually. The wheels overall are not super expensive and should cost you around 700 for all four in chrome. They are offered in the OEM style finish and chrome as of now, and I am sure they will eventually add other finish options. Thanks to WheelReplicas.com for coming through with these rims!
Now the pictures!
