The 2011 Ford Mustang is expected to deliever what most people expected the 2010 Mustang to deliever. More power. We do know that the 2011 Mustang will bring the 5.0 badging back to the Mustang GT in the form of a 4-valve dual overhead cam and is expected to produce 400 horsepower and 400 torque. There have been a few spy shots though nothing official yet from Ford.

The V6 will also be getting a new engine. The new 3.7-liter V-6 will be 24-valve DOHC engine with light-weight aluminum block. Power numbers are not final but expect it to be well above the current 210 horsepower that the current 2010 V6 Mustang has.

L.A. Auto Show
