It’s not every day you see a 1000 horsepower American made car go up for sale on eBay. This 2005 Ford GT sports a GT1000 Twin Turbo system which produces a cool 1000HP/865TQ while hitting a mind boggling top speed of 235.4 MPH to make it the fastest Ford GT every built. The starting bid is $229,500 dollars, which is just slightly outside of my budget for a car. It’s still better than the Bugatti Veyron though, which will set you back at least 6 times that amount.

Seen here in
this ebay auction is one of just a few real Eleanor Mustangs used in the movie “Gone In 60 Seconds”. This car is actually one of 11 built for the movie. Of those, two were destroyed in a bridge jump and junkyard crusher scenes. However, because certain cars were needed to do different maneuvers in the film, no two Eleanors were alike. The Eleanor in the ebay auction is one of only 3 that has a working engine and drivetrain, making it even more rare.

Rumors and Mustangs are no stranger to each other. The latest being that the Roush BlackJack Mustang may be KITT in the new Knight Rider TV show, according to someone who has close ties with the current production of the pilot. The guys over at Jalopnik have a nifty little shop of the BlackJack Mustang made up to resemble KITT. Hell it looks good to us. They promise to keep digging deeper to see what they come up with. We’ll also be keeping our eye out on anything related to this as well. See the image after the fold.

One of our members stumbled across
this mixed up Mustang on our forums. The car started out as a 1989 Mustang and quickly took a turn for the worse when the owner added an 2006 Mustang Grille and custom fiberglass lower grille with 1967 Camaro turn signals. We could run down the list of everything done to this car but pictures speak much much louder than words with this car. Check out the pictures after the fold and the
Ebay auction for the complete run down of what was done to the car.

I had to do a double take when I saw pictures of this Mustang floating around the net. A 2006 Mustang was literally chopped up for the last production run of the show “Headlights and Tailpipes”, an adult show featuring former Playboy playmates in an erotic tale about fast cars and fast women. The car [...]
