2010 ROUSH Mustang Teaser Picture

I debated whether I wanted to post this up cause it might possibly be the worst picture ever taken since the Digital Camera was created. You can’t see much, other than the fact that it apparently has a boat option. For much clearer pictures of the 2010 ROUSH Mustang, you’ll have to wait until March 18 when ROUSH officially reveals the car.

2010 ROUSH Mustang Bypasses Gas Guzzler Tax

ROUSH Performance has just announced that if you buy a 2010 ROUSH Mustang with a manual transmission in it you won’t be hit with a gas guzzler tax. For those that opt for the automatic transmission you will still have to pay a tax but it will not be as bad as previous ROUSH Mustangs. This is very exciting and promising news for Mustang enthusiasts worried about high gas prices reducing the amount of high performance V8 engines that appear in Mustangs. We look forward to providing you with more information on ROUSH’s 2010 Mustang as it becomes available.

2009 ROUSH P-51B Mustang

Come this November you’ll have the opportunity to pick up the follow up to last years very popular ROUSH P-51A Mustang. The ROUSH P-51B Mustang will be the rarest ROUSH Mustang yet with only 51 (get it?) being produced. Just like the P-51A Mustang, the P-51B will be available only as a coupe with Vapor Silver paint and a 5-speed transmission. Just like the P-51A, the P-51B will sport a 510 Horsepower ROUSHCharged V8. Check out pictures and complete list of changes after the fold.

NHRA Approves ROUSH Mustangs For Competition

Historically, the National Hot Rod Association has only approved powertrains for competition as they come from the factories in Detroit, but all that changed with the recent approval of the 2008 ROUSH® supercharged 4.6L V-8 in the Stage 3TM and P-51ATM Mustangs. It is believed that this is the first time the NHRA has approved an aftermarket powertrain for competition.

510HP ROUSH P-51A Mustang A Tribute To P-51 Mustang

During World War II, the P-51 Mustang was hailed as a savior of aviation and certainly played a major part in ending the conflict. This long range fighter escorted Allied bombers over Europe and Hermann Goering, the head of Germany’s Luftwaffe, summarized the plane’s role by stating, “The day I saw P-51 Mustangs flying over Berlin, I knew the jig was up.” Today, at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, the jig is up for the rest of the Ford Mustang tuners as ROUSH Performance unveiled the P-51A Mustang automobile which, at 510 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft. of torque, is sure to be held in as high a regard as the airplane has been in the history books and will help to save the streets from the invasion of the foreign brands.

ROUSHcharger System Gets Power Upgrade

ROUSH Performance, America’s leading powertrain engineering group, has added an additional 30 horsepower to their legendary ROUSHcharger system for the Ford Mustang GT; this increases the output of this supercharger system to a total of 445 horsepower under the hood. The additional horsepower comes from changing to a slightly smaller pulley and an enhanced PCM calibration to take advantage of the higher spin rate. Customers with a previously installed ROUSHcharger can upgrade to this High Boost Pressure Pulley by ordering part number 402863 which has a suggested retail price of $389.00.

2008 Roush 428R Mustang Revealed

ROUSH Performance continues to pay tribute to Ford’s legendary history with the 428R* Mustang, a limited edition pony car which follows in the tremendous success of their 427R* model introduced last year and which remains in the ROUSH product lineup for the 2008 model year. The ROUSH 428R* Mustang will arrive at participating Ford dealerships in October 2007.

The Roush 427R is the most powerful Roush Mustang in existence producing 427 Horsepower, hence where the number 427 comes from in the name.
