I drive a 2003 V6, and my front driver's side caliper went bad. I've been trying to get a replacement from Watertown Ford (http://www.watertownford.com/parts.aspx) for about two weeks now, and for some reason the part that their computer says goes on the car is different from what's actually on there.

The car has the PBR dual-piston calipers, but the garage keeps coming back with TWRs. The TWRs are also dual-piston so I thought maybe they were the same part just made by a different supplier, but the TWR caliper definitely doesn't bolt on to the PBR caliper bracket.

It would be absolutely awesome if someone could tell me the part number of the caliper I'm looking for!

2003 V6 Mustang
Front, driver's side caliper
PBR dual-piston

Thanks in advance!

Has anyone done a 97' 3.8 to 99' 3.8 engine swap? It jumps from 150 to 190hp. What would I need? I think I would do the motor and 5spd. transmission at the same time. If I did the swap I think I would be ahead of the game when it came time for the SC. Or should I just swap heads and intake from the newer 3.8? If I take this route what else would I need? My current 3.8 has around 81k.

My 3.8L v6 has been slowly deteriorating. I know its something to do with the transmission since the computer diagnosed the problem to be there but nothing specific. Well the accelaration is dying and the car shakes when I put it on anything but Parking. Its rpm also is very high at moderate speeds which i know is not normal.I checked the fluid level and replaced it but nothing has changed its still the same. I heard that it might be the flex plate torque converter but not sure. Any Suggestions?
