17's or 18's?

hi, i am getting a really good deal on either 17 inch or 18 inch 2003 cobra chrome rims. the only thing im worried about is that i will not be able to lower my car for a quite a while and i dont want it to have a real big gap. the tires if i got 17's would be stock tires from a cobra, and im not too sure about the 18's. what should i do? will it look bad? thanks for any help

but if you are planning on lowering your car i'd do 17s and bring the car to the wheels..that'll get rid of any possible gap

its not going to look bad but there might be a small gap, an easy like 1.5" kit would do the trick if you really want it to fill it up fully

I have stock suspension and 17 inch wheels.

C Springs should be going on relatively soon!

I can fit my fist between the tire well and top of the tire.

Soon to fix that. It's not too bad actually of a gap, esp if you compare to stock height, stock wheels.

looks at it this way, 18" Tires cost alot more than 17" tires do!

I know. we have 18" on our 2003 Mach1 ( but it does fille the gap nicely)!
