prices

hey, does anyone know an avergage price it should cost to mount, balance and put rims and tires on a car? i just wasnt sure because to me 100 dollars for a easy job like this seems to be a lot. any help would be apreciated.

Oh yeah, your getting ripped off if you pay 100. for that. Should be no more than 60. to mount and balance your rims and tires.. I live in CA too, is it a big business or an small business?

I know at work(wal-mart) its only like 45-50 to get 4 rims mounted and balanced...if they are low profile tires, i would talk with one of the techs and make sure that he knows what they are doing. Some of them have no clue and end up damaging the rims.

if i were you id try and find the g.s. guy and kick him 25. go to a regular shop though. the g.s. is the general service guy. hell do oil changes tires ect... but he's hourly and he would have to do it anyway.

i think its 7 to 10 bucks per tire to mount and balance most everywhere locally.
