Well for starters decide what your buying tires for... your stock gt rims of saleens because more than likely the saleen will require a different tire size.

You'll need to know the size of your wheel...

Tire qualities such as traction, trend, etc. will depend on the brand of tires and which specific tire, but the tire size is going to be most important.

Do you want to know what tires you need for your stock wheels or what tires you'll need for some Saleen wheels? If Saleen, what size wheel?

A tire is a tire... for most needs and purposes... if you pay alot extra you can get an amazing tire but most dont have 200+ or 300+ to drop PER TIRE I highly recommend yokahoma avs es100s they are a good price and look great and wear good.

Will they have a nice stance since they are bigger in the back than the front??

make sure you don't mind not being able to rotate them if you get bigger ones in the back.

I don't know what you mean by "since", because that will completely depend on what size wheels you get. If you need better traction, then I could understand you wanting staggered wheels, but if you don't, there's not much point in it. If you stagger your wheels, you won't be able to rotate them.

Those tires are gonna be quite expensive. Just from the 3 I see on the reviews page, these cars were used: 2003 Honda S2000, 1998 Mercedes-Benz S500 Sedan, 2000 Mercedes-Benz CLK430.

tire noise GETS horrid... if you cant rotate the tires from the front, and no you wont be able to swap sides due to directional tread, keep the front aligned ALOT at least every 6k unless it stays in spec to keep any issues from happening... but if you dont have CC plates probably not much you can do but learn to love the noise.

there is no need for it, but it looks cooler and you will get better traction, but I doubt you'll need it w/ an "all stock" GT.
