Anyone Know A Place to get Deep Dish Cobra R's?

I was thinking, and since I got such a great deal on those 2 used 17x9 rims and the 2 beat ones that came with it I wan't to try and keep with that wheel style. It was the first I liked and I still love it even if it's overplayed. but how often do you see them in Deep Dish?

Asking anyone whos in the market to keep an eye out for me. I think I'm going to get 18x10.5 in the back if I can find em

Like these if yall dont know.

Closest to Deep Dish I could get but I dont like those rivet things.

Maybe have to go custom here!!

I'd rather not have a 17x4 wheel.

There is a place here in Greenville that is going to turn my 17X8 98 Cobra's into 10.5's using the damaged ones I still have from 2 years ago. I think it will be very unique to have this setup for Land speed Racing

I like them, I think they'll look great on the more curvy 94-98.

Re: Anyone Know A Place to get Deep Dish Cobra R's?

Thats what I'm thinking. How would it look with the rims Whitestang has on in the front and those in the back temporarily. I am bettin gthey're going to be pretty pricey so I prob won't have enough to get all 4 at once.

So for now 17x9 Cobra R's in front and 18X10.5DD CCW 505A in the back. Eventually 17x9or10's of the same 505A's up front.

Re: Anyone Know A Place to get Deep Dish Cobra R's?

Don't halfass do it.

Do it all at once.

and they kinda look like import wheels, don't go bigger in diameter and not in width. Just make sure you don't end up w/ some 18x6s or some crazy ****.

Well I just talked to the guy through email. He said they are 2400 a set( ), and he doesn't make them in 17's, only in 18's.

Re: Anyone Know A Place to get Deep Dish Cobra R's?

www.crossroadzdirect.com has deep dish wheels, dunno about cobra r's though

*edit* http://www.crossroadzdirect.com/oec-cbr-c.html here are chrome ones, the biggest size listed is 17x10.5. they also have the silvers in the same size. but neither say if they're "deep dish" or not

Re: Anyone Know A Place to get Deep Dish Cobra R's?

Yea those are just knock off Cobras. But yea the guy is saying that I could get 11's in back and might be able to squeeze 10's in the front. How big would 11 inch tires be lol. I dunno if it's overkill or not but it sure sounds badass.

Re: Anyone Know A Place to get Deep Dish Cobra R's?

10.5's won't work in front with coilovers, so if you plan on getting coilevers, i'd stick with 9's. otherwise, whatever floats your boat

Re: Anyone Know A Place to get Deep Dish Cobra R's?

you dont want 10.5 in the front unless you want to look like a damn Hot wheel. Plus the strain on the front suspension and spindles would be horrible. You would have the turning radius of a dump truck

Do it and I will call you hot wheel for the rest of your natural life.

Re: Anyone Know A Place to get Deep Dish Cobra R's?

yeah, 9 is as big as I'd want to go in the front. I have 9s and have no problem with wheel rub, even at full lock on an incline, but if I'm not mistaken, 94-98s have more of a problem, than 99+

You must be drinking again. I have driven a dump truck and let me tell you our cars are not like dump trucks but put 10.5 on the front and you will know. Our cars might not have the tightest turning radius of the new cars but it definately not the worse.

Re: Anyone Know A Place to get Deep Dish Cobra R's?

So why the hell would this guy only make them in 10 and 10.5's? He makes them specifically for a Mustang so how does that make sense. Ohhhh right, the new thing where bigger is better. :yank:

And Danger Dude, it would look a little funky with 10's up front but I think Hot Wheels is a pretty cool nickname.

Looks like these things are out of the picture, 2400 a set and they don't even make a small enough width for the front. Screw it.

Well I have 2 busted up 98 Cobra rims. All I need is to use them as the sacrificial rims and and get another 2 rims and have them custom welded up

Instant deep dish
