18x10/315/30 on an irs cobra?

Hey fellas,I'm new to the site and I have a 1999 procharged cobra w/ independent rear suspension! Currently running stock 17x8 w/245/275! I want to run BBS RK Plasma 18x8.5 and 18x10 w/275/40 front and 315/30 rear w/o a wheel spacer! Anyone know what mods have to be done to fit them properly or what max size tire will work w/o modification? I've been told there is a bolt in the irs that sticks out 3/4" that can be changed to a flat head bolt! Any help at all will be greatly appreciated! Thank You!

if you remove your rear tire you will see the bolt no problem. You can go to Maximum Motorsports :: The Leader In Mustang Performance Suspensions and buy a shorter head bolt and replace it, those I believe are the wrong size anyway (they used 12mm instead of 14mm or visa versa and said it was correct... they just screwed up)

A 315 should work on a correctly backspaced rim, and Im am pretty sure the bbks are good, ive seen cobras with em adn 315s out back before. Check on your brand of tire choice cuz every tire is different.

Actually it's both depending who's online Quite a few members are friends and they mind f*ck each other from time to time. You'll get your info and maybe some extra chit chat. Live with it
But to make a comment about people being ******* (unless it's beaner) is very offense & childish

What was said to me was childish and offensive and I don't have to live with it! I don't take orders from anyone, especially not you! Who gave you the right to order me around and stick your nose in my business?Your provoking me by saying that but you say I'm childish? I never refered to a specific person or people,so if you're offended than you must be guilty! I didn't come on here to start problems, but I'll be damned if I don't get treated w/ respect!!!No matter who it is!! I do'nt treat people like that and I won't let it ride!!!

So I take it you are unemployeed? If not then you are obviously taking orders from someone. With that said chill out. This is a website with people who all have differing opinions. I don't know what was sasid to you but you are handeling it in an incorrect manor. We have a tool her for you to report posts that you find offensive. Had you just used this we would have taken care of it. However, you apparently did not and decided to escalate things to a level that is not neccessary.

You earn respect. You have 13 posts on here and we have no idea who you are. So far the way you have handeled this situation is very childish

You come on here and do not follow simple rules for reporting offending posts. There is a reason there is a report post button. With that said, if you have a problem with what I just said to you, PM me instead of continuing arguing in this thread over something so trivial.
