New Speakers

Im looking at possibly getting some new speakers for the front and back of my 2002 mustang. I have a pioneer touch screen and no mach system. However, Id like to add those mach tweeters by the mirrors. How would I go about installing those? Do i need the mach system for them to work? Also, all i want is a little more bass and sound. Not really looking for a sub to clutter up my trunk and rattle all my panels off. What are some good speakers at a good price? And would I benefit from an amp at all? And is there a right up on installing that?

Re: New Speakers

You could go with dual voicecoil component speakers in the
front,I'll advise if you aint got the Mach don't go there just
for highs (Tweeters) because the cost isn't worth it,In order
to accomodate the fit of the Mach system tweeters both door
panels will need to be changed to Mach style panels because
they accentuate eachother when door is closed.Panels off of
ebay can go from $250-500/pr.So the other route would be
as I mentioned previous either component 2way co-axial or
component seperates where the tweeters and midbass drivers are installed in the door seperately.I know you maybe
lost by now so to sum it up go get my advice clarified by seeking the pro's at they'll be more than happy to serve you.Hope this helps ur endeavor of sound. They can help you with the rears too.

Re: New Speakers

The mach tweeters just tie into the door speakers, real easy to do. Had to replace one on mine and the wires ran straight to the door speaker.

The cheap brand "lightning audio" is a awesome speaker and sound great. They are made by rockford fostgate.
