show me pics of "Different rims"

Looking for pics of rims other than bullits, FR500's and cobras

I was thinking about the BBK RS rims but since they discontinued the plasma's thats not helping.

whats your budget, cuz if you want good looking non ford rims you will be spending double or triple or even more for the wheels.

That's what I have always thought of bbs. The first time I saw a set I thought they were FR500's, and I've never seen the interest everyone has in them.

^no they didn't they stopped production on the plasma's and the 18x10, or at least thats what they have on thier website

oh i think they not only look different but they weigh ALOT LESS, 19lbs/wheel vs 26lbs/FR500

thats alot of rotational mass

Re: show me pics of "Different rims"

^^^he said different rims. thems just cobras bud. unless youre referring to your smaller pic, which you can barely tell theres a car in it.

for 1200$ you are pretty much screwed. unless you can find rims at 150 each and cheapie tires. you can try EdgeRacing.com, i got my rims/tires for my GST there, but they were only 7" (225's) wide and were more import styled. 9 and 10" wide rims are expensive, and then you add expensive tires on top of that, just cause nobody really makes a economy 275mm+ wide tire, mostly cause people looking into those sizes are doing so for performance reasons.

Re: show me pics of "Different rims"

Its not about being different, its about looking good. 100 of something that looks good looks just as good as if only one of them existed.

He said 1200 for rims, so 300 each. Basically ford chromies or some other brand in silver (non chrome)

Re: show me pics of "Different rims"

You MIGHT be able to find some CCW's for 1200, but that could be a huge stretch.

All I have to say is prostars with some good DR's and volkswagon tires up front for the pizza cutters

Mustangs Unlimited - The Source for Mustang Parts, Shelby Parts, Cougar Parts and Accessories

Any of the top four.

They came in hyper black, chrome and silver. They were discontinued they say. I'm hoping I never bend one, I don't think I could get a replacement.

Re: show me pics of "Different rims"

No, not at all, I was sure i would have to modify something, but I lucked out. The monster snow tires I have on right now rub a little if I have to make a real sharp U turn. but it's no big deal

Re: show me pics of "Different rims"

What do you think is the widest rim you could put in the back to clear the fender lip if your tire and rim had to go up and under and into the wheel well? I was curious since I will be putting my stang back on air and want to see if I can go bigger then 8.5. Thanks
~Jon~

Re: show me pics of "Different rims"

I could have fit 10" with no problem, and wish that I did for the rear, I might get some spacers for the rear to make it look tighter, but I hate the look of spacers with rims.

Re: show me pics of "Different rims"

you can fit a 10.5 or 11 inch back there if the backspacing is right, I think a 10 inch works best as much more than that they start to creep out from under the fender lip. With a 10 inch YOU MUST RUN a 295 mm wide tire at least to protect the rim lip and some tire companies are narrow so check on that first as well before ordering tires.
