Re: wheel tire combo

Like crap...but, don't base it on my opinion because I hate black rims more so than I hate a few other things in the car world....they are at the bottom of my list.

However, when others chime in, weigh thier opinion.

Re: wheel tire combo

everyone has their own opinion on wheels, just scan some images with wheels on your color and pick what you like the most. Just make SURE to get the right size tires (254/45/17 tires are NOT the right size for 9 inch wide 17 inch rims fyi)

Re: wheel tire combo

It's a 17x8 with 245's, that is factory width wheel with a factory width tire.

Re: wheel tire combo

i like them ok...but, they are very common and if i was going to buy wheels other than the ones that came on the car, i'd go with something a little less common. I like them alright though. If i were set on bullitts, i'd get 18" with dd...like zim. or chrome ones like darkshadow's

Re: wheel tire combo

18s definatly cost more for wheels. You can pick up some 03 cobra rims like I have in chrome for pretty darn cheap and the tires will run around 500 overall~

Re: wheel tire combo

yes, they would fit.

aspiring to look more like a cobra because, frankly, many cobra parts look best, is not being a poser. If you were to do that and claim it was a cobra, or put cobra badges on it, that would be being a poser. Doing stuff b/c you think it is cool and people will like you more, paying no attention to your opinion of it, is being a poser.

Didn't think the 05 would work on a 04

Re: wheel tire combo

They fit in nearly all cases...I have heard from the guys that have 98-2004 models that they all worked, but 2 of them said they used Mr. Gasket 7/32" spacers to create a bit more space between rim and components. They both said that when car is in full lock of steering there was slight rubbing on inner suspension (tie rod ends?) by tires. Two of the sets that I sold I watched being mounted with those 245/45/17 tires and they had no troubles....looked close, but no troubles. I even put a set on my wifes Chrysler minivan....it has huge calipers width wise so I had to use thicker spacers and longer studs. Sure looks and handles great with the Pirelli PZeroNeros on it. The difference between 94-04 rims and the 05+ rims are the newer ones are 40mm+ offset compared to 28 mm.

Re: wheel tire combo

If you're going with bullitts, get 18's. 17s look too small with a bullitt wheels since they tend to look small anyway. Also check into the deep dish bullitts, they look much better than the factory style wheels
