Wheel cleaning?

Hey, guys.
I have a set of powdercoat silver wheels on my v6. (Gonna upgrade eventually, ha ha.)
The problem is that they are horribly dirty. I've tried various cleaning stuff on them, but there seems to be streaks of dark liquids running down them? They are dry and won't come off?

How can I make these rims wheels look decent? Any suggestions?

Re: Wheel cleaning?

the key is not letting them get that bad, try some simple green if that doesnt work you can step up to something more potent.

Re: Wheel cleaning?

Ah, the wheels were pretty bad when I actually bought the car. They had been sitting out in a junkyard for quite some time, and I guess oils and whatnot leaked onto them.

Can I find some potent stuff from auto stores? Or online sites?

Re: Wheel cleaning?

yea you can find cleaners at autopart stores, the final thing would be to have them repowdercoated

Thanks for the help, guys. I plan on spending a good afternoon cleaning my wheels once it stops snowing. Ha ha.
