Re: wheel paint

Yes. Powdercoating looks better and lasts longer though. Best bet is to check around locally.

Re: wheel paint

Absolutely. Are you trying to do it yourself? I did my Pony wheels with rattle can. I just taped off the lip sanded them down a bit, and sprayed em.

Re: wheel paint

anything is possible if you've got the cash or the imagination and time lol. I'd def try powdercoating before resorting to the cheaper way if you can afford it. It'll last longer and not a lot of ppl can rattle can very well

Re: wheel paint

I rattle canned this rim... takes time but if you dont have the resources to dismount the tire... instead of taking a long *** time to tape of the tire... take a deck of cards and stick them in and run it between the rim lip and the tire and it creates a perfect seamless paint line.

Re: wheel paint

that looks great man. I meant a lot of ppl can't do it w/o making runs and most ppl get impatient and try and do one big glob at once instead of numerous light coats (ie. myself lol)

i dont have the money right now to get them powder coated...should i save up and spend more money, or is it ok to go cheaper for this?

Re: wheel paint

What paint did you use on those? I usually just use the Rustoleum Wheel Paint. What do you go with?
