One size up 2002 GT torq thrust best match

Looking for closest match to 2002 GT premium stock torq thrust wheels but in 18"x10". Friend got set from AmericanMuscle and the have odd bowing and caps didn't fit well.

Re: One size up 2002 GT torq thrust best match

Hmm...replicas are about the closest thing you can get to the factory 17x8 bullitts.

I have American Racing Torque Thrust M's and they are pretty close the factory wheels. They have real nice center caps and are available in 18x9 and 18x10, but are more expensive than the typical replica bullitts.

What exactly do you mean by "odd bowing"? The curvature of each spoke?

Re: One size up 2002 GT torq thrust best match

I am considering the staggered American Racing torque thrust 18X9 front 18X10s rear. Yes the bowing of American Muscle replicas is an exaggerated curvature that doesnt look good in the enlarge image. Can you switch out the center caps with stock on your American Racing Torque Thrust M's?

Where did you buy them? I am looking at Tire Rack but other places are cheaper and offer free shipping. Hopefully someone knows of a better place.

Yah I like the more curvy appearance of the aftermarket bullitts...trust me, they look great on the cars...check out some customer pics.

I bought mine thru my mechanic who had an account with Tire Rack back in 06, so I got a pretty decent price.

I do believe Latemodel Restoration and CJ Pony Parts (both site sponsors) carry replica bullitts and the American Racing Torque Thrusts.

I'm not sure about the center caps on th AR Torque Thrusts...they seem to be a solid piece rather than an inserted center cap. I always liked them, I have no plans to replace them.
