Stock or Aftermarket Wheels?

What's up guys? I got my 03 Mustang GT with these wheels and I had a question about them. Well they look exactly like the stock rims like other Mustangs, but mine are chrome and they don't have the Ford sign in the center caps. Are my wheels stock from factory or are they just replicas that you can buy from some website or somewhere? I am just wondering. Thank you

Pull one off and check the inside to see if there are any markings.

They are stock and someone may have dipped in chrome.

Re: Stock or Aftermarket Wheels?

ford never offered those wheels in chrome from the factory, they only offered them polished with black inserts for the 99 spring edition GT's and 35th edition GT's if I remember right.

those might have been chromed or may be ford racing brand

Re: Stock or Aftermarket Wheels?

Those were not an option for the 03 GT. I too have seen them before but am not sure if they are ford racing or purely aftermarket.

Yeah they look exactly like the stock wheels from other Mustangs, but mine are chrome and they don't have the 'Ford' sign in the middle so I believe that they aren't from factory.

The red ones sickk.
And i'd say the fr500s charcoal color (like in the pics above) would looks better on the darker red/marroon and the bullitts look better on a brighter red.

Well I decided to clean my wheels today and I pulled one of them out. I checked on the inside of the wheel and this is what I found. So they are from factory?

I might be wrong but I think you would have to buy new centers since they are plastic.. I've seen one b4 at the drag strip that had the wheels chromed but still had the satin finish centers.. I assume bc it's a diff process to chrome the wheels and the plastic centers..

Awesome, I want to see lol. I painted my calipers red, but they don't really stand out with chrome wheels.
