90 GT wheel sizes

I have a 1990 GT and I want to get 17x9 cobra rims (5-lug) but im not sure what tires to get, I dont want it to ride rough though. I also wanted to make the rear tires a little bit bigger. (this is a daily driver hot rod, not a track car) please help

255 up front. 275 in the back. I would run Micky Thompson ET streets in the back for sure. Front doesn't matter to much lol

Re: 90 GT wheel sizes

255's in the front wouldn't rub with 17x9 rims?

I have 245/40/17 up front and 275/40/17 in back. The fronts rub if you crank the wheel hard but other then then that they look perfect
