Be aware, them good years are a good ride and stick pretty good but they'll pick up every every nail you drive within ten foot of.

What is with that?? I had the eagle GTs on- loved the ride, love the way they look - I would totally buy them again, but within a month I had to get 2 nails pulled out of the back tire. And I don't drive anywhere unusual - why do you think that is??

Hankook ventus v12's, nitto invo/nt05's, continental's can't remember the name but will probably be my next tire. I think it's like dw contact sport, kumho ecsta xs's just to name some. All are decent tires but for you to decide on. Looking for a performance summer tire that's sticky or something that does well in wet also?

You'll get as many different tires as you get replies. What are your goals for these and what life do you expect to get

I drove them for several years and the only thing I could guess was they was too soft. Drove and handled great.

Re: tires

I'm going to add a slightly different opinion than those before: On my two cars, I use Nexxon and Dunlap. The Dunlap are smooth and comfortable ride, but they are expensive (wife's Camaro), The Nexxon are nice also, but they came in the different sizes, so I was able to get the "Staggered" setup I needed for my Mustang, Dunlap did not have the size variety I needed. All in all, it comes down to preferrence.

Re: tires

I've run toyo proxies, goodyears gt+4's, Fulda extremo's (one of the best tires I've ever bought) and my cobra rides on Riken Raptor ZR's. First 2 sets of goodyears and toyos were junk, no wet weather traction at all hardly, even when it just drizzled, the later 2 however have awesome dry traction and very good wet and snow traction as well.
