18's 19's or 20's

I have a 5.0 2011 comes with 18s. I like the look of the 20's. But I like to drive on road courses and don't want to hurt my performance with 20' what is the best set up for a weekend warrior track car but still have cool looking rims?

I would keep the 18s but I'm not a fan of 20s on a mustang. I think they are ridiculous. Besides as u said yourself the 20s will hurt the performance anyway. To each his own though

If u get 20s, b careful, u hit a bad bump and u break a wheel, my cousin had a Caddy with 20s, hit a pot hole, his tire was fine but his wheel broke

those wheels are just to big for that car, 19s are really pushing it, 18s on pre 04s seem to fit better all around, but on 05+ 20s work great.

Go for some aftermarket staggered 18's. I was worried they make look a bit small on my 12 but I think they look great! Wouldn't go higher then 19's. Personally, not a fan of big wheels..

Sounds like people are on the fence with 20's. I think i will go with 18's. How big of a tire can you put in the back. I like the wide old school hot rod look but don't want to get to ridiculous.

Those rims are ugly.but atleast they tucked them in there nicely instead of jacking the car up.

I have 20s on my 06 gt and they look great, BUT they do make the handling worse and the ride quality sucks! Also the tires are rediculous. Great for straight lines and look good too, but that's it.

Yeah that's what I thought. I am a road track guy. I haven't put the lower suspension on yet but I will. So I think staggered 18's is the way to go. I think the torque trusts would be cool in that size.

Hey hows every one . I new to this i was trying to creat a post but didn't see how . I would say 20 would look just fine as long as your car is not too much off the grown. I am looking for some rims my self for my girls 05 roush stage one there pics in my profile. I was thinking off going with 20 by 10 in the back and 19 by 8.5 in the front just haven't been able to find any rims like that i also want them deep dish. What you guys think and you can help me lead me the way on where to look would be great . Thank you all

I say 18" deep dish in whatever design you choose! Cant go wrong with the staggered look. I have 17" deep dish on my 03 cobra, although i love the look I wish they were 18s. 285 up front and 315 out back and i need every in of those 315s on the pavement! : )

I have 18" stagger right now but not happy with the look i dont like too big big i think 20 with 19 on front might get where i want it to be . Im done with racing i have a 90 for that this one i want it for the look
