Biggest and best tire

My buddy has a 94 cobra with the stock cobra rims. What's the biggest tire he can fit without rubbing he wants a good tire also that can handle 450hp.. Lmk guys..

With the right backspaced rim and a bit of clearancing, I think he can get up to a 295 - 315 under there.


What kind of tire, street or strip, drag radial or slick?

proably a 17/10.5 rim with a 315 tire, new edge mustangs fit them

Nice I'm not sure on the backspacing it's a bone stock rim.. But it is lowered 1"

Micky Thompson ETs. Wouldn't put another tire on the back on my Stangs.
