Need advice on Tires

My 04 Mustang convertible has P245/45ZR17 performance tires on it. They are well worn (85m kilometers) and need to be replaced soon. Could I replace them with a tire that does not have such a low profile and perhaps get a little more softer ride?

If I'm not mistaken the 45z you would need next upgrade would be 55z. I might be wrong though. Good luck with feed back.

I have nexen on mine. They are really soft. Before I got them I thought I needed shocks or something cause before it was really bumpy. Nexen saved me money on starting to replace shocks, struts. Etc...

You can get a taller sidewall but there will be more flex in the tires and will not handle as well and will also throw off your speedo
