slicks on fox

i need some rims to mount my slicks on. i am not gonna use them very often. i want the slicks to be on there own rims, so when i get to the track ai can switch them out. i would really hate to drop big money on some rims that are barely gonna get used.

the slicks i have are 15x27x10 hoosiers. i am thinking i need a back spacing of around 5.5 -6.5" ?
does anyone with a foxbody run this exact size tires? if so what does it take to fit.

so i would need a 15x8 minumum up to a 15x10 rim with the best backspacing.

i have checked around pretty extensivley for a cheap set of rims from summit, jegs, american muscle. but i havent had any luck finding something cheap. does anyone know of some rim goldmine somewhere that has good prices. i am even willing to use some plain black steel wheel.

thanx in advance.

50$ would be great. But I didn't see any that cheap when I looked there. Do you happen to remember what kinds they were or what I could search for?

10 hole wheels won't work? Seen loads of ppl using those and the turbine style wheels that came on 87-88 LX's

idk. thats what i was asking for. are they at least 8" wide? if so i may see if i can find a set. i think most stock wheels are 7" wide. i maybe able to put the slicks on 7" rims but its not recommended and i wouldnt be able to run as low of pressure.

after a little looking around. they are 15x7. which is probably a little smaller than i would like. but if it comes down to it i did find a few people running 255 s on them which are equal to 10s. so they might work if needed. but im gonna keep researching. and thanx for the tip.

Was going to look but am working. That's too bad, may just have to invest in some Welds or Bogarts

I didn't get online but I figured I would just snap a shot of the catalog. These might be the ones if the are available in my pattern and backspace.
