Question Wheel Question / possibly stupid question

Ok here goes im wanting to change the wheels on my stang.
I have these sitting in my garage Motegi Racing Chrome MR7 Wheel that are now discontinued but 1 will have to be repaired because the chrome under the lip is chipped and wont hold air. they are 17's

I really want to go with black on black so that means that i would also need to get the Motegi rims dipped.
So here is the possibly stupid part hahahaha should i just go with motegi rims and save money or go new and then end up having the motegi and the stock rims on my stang sitting in my garage until I can sell them?

Re: Wheel Question / possibly stupid question

Depending on your budget what you could do is take the wheels you have right now, dip them and also use the glossifier to keep the black on black look. In the long run though i would get new wheels altogether.

Yeah I was thinking about getting that one rim fixed and then later on getting them dipped that way I won't have to worry about selling 8 rims and tires if I buy a new set. Thanks for input doing this has been on my mind for about 2 weeks now hahahahaha the place was closed today so I can't get the price on getting the rim fixed. I will run it by them tomorrow and then I will know what I'm up against

Re: Wheel Question / possibly stupid question

It will cost me $110 a wheel to get them dipped to black. It cost $125 to have the chrome fixed. That just saved me $860 that i can be used towards something else.

Re: Wheel Question / possibly stupid question

Are you talking about dipping them? Or Powder coating them?
