Sorry if this has been posted before, but I've run into a bit of trouble getting some tires for my mustang. I recently bought some 17x9 Bullitt rims and now I'm stuck deciding what tires I should get for my car. Everytime I go to any tire place, they always tell me that i can only go up to 235/45/17 or 245/45/17. Even if i go that big, they tell me that i risk having the tires rub on my car. I've searched over several mustang forums and see that people get 255/40/17, 265/40/17 or 275/40/17 tires. Now my question is, is 235/45/17 or 245/45/17 really the maximum i can do with my car, or can i go with another size? I want some tires that can offer some rim protection (just got my license, so I'm still learning to bang out that parallel parking
) and lets me turn easily. Any help is appreciated! Thank you!
