I hate to be a pain and ask a question that has likely been answered, but a few quick searches yielded no direct results.

It's time to buy new tires, and I previously swapped my 245's from my factory wheels. New wheels are 9 in. and I want to put some meat on em. I'm no tire guru, can anyone advise? I'd like to go as wide as possible without serious ramifications.

285 is the biggest I'd go, and that's pushing it

Looks like 275 is the optimal size. I appreciate the input! Hopefully I can find a good deal online.
