Which tires should I buy for my Mustang?

I have a 2002 Mustang V6 and I need to put new tires on it.

Right now I have Nexen N5000's on it but the car skids a lot on wet pavement. Is there a better tire or should I stick with what I've got on there? Price isn't really that important.

I have Bridgestone Potenza RE-760 Sports on my 03 GT. They are pretty good IMHO, I was concerned that their grip level wouldn't be that great given their 340 tread wear rating, but they are competent tires. Previously I had BFG G-Force KDW 2's on it, they were great in the rain, but they did wear pretty quickly (25k miles a set), and were quite noisey. I hear the Yoko S drives are pretty good as well.
