10.5 tires

What's the skinniest you could go on a 10.5" rim? I'm thinking of buying some 17" FR500s with my tax return and I've got some 255/40R17s sitting in my garage that I was thinking if tossing on there.

That might be too small but you can put em on there. I have 285 on my 10.5 and I feel they look tiny

That's what I was thinking. I won't have the money for a while for new tires so I'm trying to decide what to do.

I will, if I can't find anything then some BFG KDW2s seem to be in my future.
