I had covers on my 01 GT. They are pricey, but I just liked the look better than a hand painted caliper that is an ugly shape to begin with. If you are a perfectionist and want something easy to clean for cruises and shows get the covers, if not then go with paint is my two cents.

I have a brand new set if you want.

It is a new finish which Im not sure is available yet.

Flat black with white script. Let me open the box and snap a few pix.

I was going to take the Brembos off and go to GT brakes but dont think I want to do that at the end so I will let these go.

Let me know.

if I had the money I would've gotten the covers. I painted my calipers with multiple coats and let them dry for multiple hours and now theyre still pealing less than a year later. the covers look real cheesy if they say brembo or something like that when they are in fact not. as long as theyre blank or say something like mustang then theyre not bad to me at all

I got covers for my car about 4-5 months ago. 3 of the 4 worked fine but the back right tire would always rub against the caliper clip no matter what I did. shaved it down nothing, put them on and off like 20times nothing. I returned them this week. IMO they are cheap.

I thought about the covers but the cost held me back. I did paint them and they look sooooo much better

I'm repainting them now as I have time. I'm also going to repaint my rims too.

I get mixed reviews on mine. Most people will tell me they look good, but that im faking a big brake kit. Which is what they are so i dont get offended at all. I personally think they look great. Ive got the black covers so they are far less noticeable then a red, yellow, etc. My main reason for getting them was to limit brake dust getting on my new wheels, which they have been great for.

The outer.pads, I know. I googled images and IMO the whole unit looks better than just the actual caliper.

I agree just sucks you'll have to paint that part of the pads every time they get changed.
