Used Nitto NT01 Tires worth it?

A friend of mine is selling 3 used Nitto NT01 tires for $180 (255/40/17). Here's a pick of the 2 he has that are in best condition. Please keep in mind I'll only be using these probably 3 maybe 4 times a year strictly for 1/4 & 1/8 mile track use. How much life do you think I'll get? They sell new for about $180 per tire.

Not much, this things look like they're toast. It wouldn't even be worth the time and money to mount and balance IMO

From the looks of it,(on a phone) your even money either way. Half tread at half the cost of new. You should get a season out of them, unless you go every week. I personally would go new, tires have a life span, regardless of tread. It probably wouldn't be fun having a blow out at 100mph.

No just the pics on my phone, and the tread looks low from the shadows (or lack of) of the tread pattern
