Max rear trie width on a 2012

Hey guys, is it possible to fit a 315 width tire on the rear of a 2012? I've been looking for answers but I didn't find enough that I found really helpful. Any help would be much appreciated.

100% Possible, in fact, it's been done several times before. It's all about the offset. There's a few guys running 315's on 11" wide wheel in the back. Maybe some of them could chime in as to the offsets and Backspacing they're running. Another crucial element is that your adjustable Panhard bar would have to be setup absolutely perfect. But do it, it looks sick. Good luck!

Thanks for the responses! Are they safe to run on a 10"rim? I really like the look of 17's for some reason so I was hoping I could run a 17x10 with a 315/35/17.

The rim I'm looking at getting says the backspacing is 7.27" and the offset is 45mm. I'm not really sure What all that means. I've never bought rims before lol

If you can fit a 305/35 on all 4 corners then you wont have issues with a 315 in the rear.
