Rims

How can I tell if my rim is polished, has a machined face, or painted? I attached a picture of my actual rim

If the rim has like ribs in the finish but its kinda shiny then its machined finish which from the looks of the picture that's what you have. If you have polished or will be smooth and be shiny like chrome, and if its painted it will also be smooth but will have a silver finish. Hope that helps

I believe he is referring to machine marks. The wheels in the picture look painted to me.

Those are painted. You can see where it has chipped in some places.

Mine would look like that if they are clean and took with a better camera. I think its machined because there are little tiny rings coming from the middle that go out. Here are a few more closer up pictures

Yea they are machined but I'd look into a new wheel with that crack and all
