Im an idiot. How terrible does this look.

Well, learn from your mistakes i guess. Had a chance to pick up some Hankook RS-3 305/30/19s for the rear for over 50% off retail. I wasn't sure how they would look with my 275/40/19s in the front. But i couldn't pass up the price. Damnit. They look completely stupid. Im so pissed off i wasted $420 on tires and $150 to mount and balance them. They are GREAT looking tires and hook extremely well but the size difference looks terrible. Completely clueless what i want to do. Do i get new front tires? Or just sell the RS3s and put the old tires back on. God im so mad and pissed right now. Looks like i have 2 f****** spare tires in the rear.

Just do what midnight said. Roll with them until u can sell the fronts. I would never pay 150 for mount and balance tho. Am I the only one that read that part and was like WOW! It's not that bad bro.

No offense but they look retarded. Even if you bought new fronts the sidewall is way to short.

Well that was for all 4 tires getting mounted and balanced. The 275/40/19s were in the rear originally , and i had them put on the front for more grip. Had 245/45/19s before. Figured that would have been REALLY noticeable.

I'd swap the taller tires to the back, like somebody else said. That's just me tho.

305/35s or 315/35s. I'm assuming you're running 19x10s in the rear?
Are you only running a 19x8.5 up front?

---------- Post added at 05:16 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:15 PM ----------

It's going to throw off your RevsPerMile also.

Yes they are 19x10s in the rear and 19x8.5 in the front. So i cant just switch them around.

What do you mean mess up my rpms? Is it going to hurt the car? I know my mph will be alittle off.

---------- Post added at 05:22 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:18 PM ----------

I guess im just going to have the 275/40/19s put back on the rear and the 245/45/19s back on the front. So pissed i have to spend another 150 f******* dollars on this crap. These tires retail for $470 a tire, and i got them new for $220. So hopefully i can make atleast $400 back.

RevsPerMile mile will just throw your speedo off a little, not sure about the odometer though. It can be adjusted for on a handheld. 275s on a 8.5 is pushing it, that's another reason why the tires up front look so much taller.

You live and ya learn man, it just sucks when you learn and it costs ya money. You shouldn't have a problem getting rid of them. Just don't get to greedy on the price trying to recoup your losses or you'll never sell them. Good luck man.

If you need to switch and keep it affordable. Look into 255/40s up front and 285/35s out back.

Yeah i was originally gonna get some MT street comps for the rear in 285/35, but i wanted something wider. I couldn't justify spending that money going from a 275 to only a 285.

Hey, I can't find a rim/tire combo that I like. At least you had the courage to pull the trigger and believed in yourself. Props for that!

I'm going to get a lot of hate for this but, it's still JUST a car.

I hear ya. I just hate throwing money away. My mods are few and far between these days since im in the middle of planning a wedding, so it just pisses me off that my "mod" money got wasted. Hopefully i can atleast make some money back by selling the tires, and only loose about $300ish from the installs. Its a badass freaking tire, but since its 19" its gonna be tough to sell.

It would help but i have staggered rims. The 305 up front would rub. Not to mention to pretty dumb with 305s in the front and 275s in the rear. They are coming off tomorrow and everything will be going back to the way it was. Ill try something else as soon as i can get these sold.
