Wheels - Need Your Opinion

Thinking about having my stock wheels painted black. I this a dumb idea? They're the only thing about the car that I'm not crazy about, but I have gotten used them. I like the "all-original" look, but I also like the gray on black look, although it is seen everywhere. What would you do?

I recommended that to another member who had those wheels on a red GT. I think those wheels would look sick powder coated glossy black only downfall is what he said you can only go so wide with stock wheels

If you want, you can plasti dip them first to get an idea of what they would look like black, that way if you don't like it you can remove it.

Yea the biggest problem with the stock wheels is they're not wide enough... Look at my rear wheels after lowering 235-45-19 on a 19x8.5 wheel... Aftermarket with a wider wheel is your best option, I'd say plastidip, since powdercoat isn't worth it for the stockers

I still cant believe Ford put a 235 tire on the rear of a 420hp car. What a joke.

235? Wow, my 01 came with 245 stock. I'm getting some 18x10s next week though, coming with 285s but I'll upgrade to 305s after I blow through these tires.
