Rim Size.

I always thought my rims were 17x9 because I didn't think AM made 17x8 2003 Cobra rims however I just saw that they did and they recommend 245 tires for it and that is what is currently on the car. I never paid much attention until now and I'm really wondering if they 17x8s and why the guy I bought it from wouldn't spend a little more and get 17x9s. Is there anyway I can really tell preferably without taking the tire off and measuring.

I don't think so. Just take off the wheel and look inside the spoke. Shouldn't take you no more than 5 min

What size tires are on there now? I have 17 x 9 and a 255 on them fit right to the edge with no rounding. I would think if the 245 fits right to the edge then they are 8's
