I hear what you are saying, but you can run 20's with taller tires on the 2010+ mustangs and they don't look funny. I saw one with 22'' wheels and it actually looked alright, but not my cup of tea and I bet the performance is null and void

Personally I run 18 for performance reasons and a better selection of tires...
