Need help choosing wheel size. I Do not know which ones to pick?

I know this is a mustang forum but I believe I can get more help out of here than another website. So I am looking for new wheels for my car.

Front
Size: 17x7.5
Offset: +30mm
Weight: 23.26lbs
Tire: 225/50/17
Rear
Size: 17x8.0
Offset: +33mm
Weight: 24.14lbs
Tire: 235/50/17

but I do not understand what size to get and what size I can have.

From what I understand the front and back are different as seen above.

So when I am looking for wheels I need two 17x8s and two 17x7.5s right? And if I wanted 18 inch rims I would have to increase tire size? The tire size is 225 and 235/50/17s and so I would need to get 18 on the end right?

I had stock 235/50/18 all the way around and I upgraded to 255/35/20 in front and 285/30/20 in the back. It all depends on what you like.

If you look on the driver door it should tell you what you had stock.

Just by going off the stock, track and touring and nismo options that were available for your car, you can run 30mm offset wheels with a 114.3 bolt pattern on your car safely in sizes ranging from 17x7.5 to 18x8 in the front and in the back 17x8 to 19x10 (that 17x8 had 33mm offset for the rear wheel though)

Tire sizes get a little more complex since differing widths and aspect ratios are available for a given diameter. So once you decide on a set of wheels (and you should go staggered by the way) we can then tackle the tire portion.

I'd honestly it up a 350Z forum, there are ton of them out there and I can't believe you could not get working combos from ppl that are currently running them.

With that said, yes when you go to 18s you will need a new tire obviously since the rim is going to be bigger. Check on tirerack for your stock tire size diameter and then scroll down and see what 18" sizes meet that diameter. As far as width... that I do not know. I know on our cars running a big 10-11" wide rim is not a problem but the Nissan is a sissy girly car... I mean its a nice import sports car that might not be able to run the same widths.
