Thoughts on wheels for my 95

OK, I need to get rid of these ridiculous wheels that were on my 95 when I bought it. They are 18" Lexani so I may get some cash for them but they dont belong on this car.

The vert is mine. The yellow car has the wheels I want, how do you think they will look?

Deep dish 03 cobra wheels. The ones on the car just dont belong. Slowly working through all the cars issues

Convertible top, clutch and exhaust all need work. Eventually ill fix the rip in the drivers seat and fix the paint. Somebody gave the pain a freshening but didn't do it very well. Also deciding between afr heads or vortech. Money pit for sure bht it will be sweet when I am done. I only paid 5k. Maybe a bit high but I can work with it

Those don't exactly look like 03 Cobra deep dish rims but that might just be the angle and them probably being 18s to lengthen the spokes. I agree your current rims look horrific, I don't know why ppl do that crap to Mustangs. I don't think they'd look good on any car honestly but that's just my opinion.

I'd take a look at the SVE Drift rims on LMR as well. I have not seen anyone around here with them and we have a LOT of Mustangs around here. The price is also right on them.

edit: What website are those black with silver ring Cobra rims on anyway? Those would look tits on my car and I'm in the market for some new wheels this spring. Bullitt rims are played out around these parts, EVERYONE with a SN95 has them it seems.

They have the 03 rims but honestly those rims on the yellow one don't look quite like 03 rims. Spokes are too long and narrow. Almost looks like an inverted 2000 R rim...

The americanmuscle ones are the closest I can find. I will be honest I would take a cheap set of split 5 spome gt wheels for now on the cheap just so I dont look like a complete jackass with these lexani wheels

Idk your budget, but my favorite wheels are CCW. They are pricy but I will have them this time next year when I get my taxes, hopefully! You should give them a look. I dont like things I see on everyone else's car. That's one reason I'll get the CCW wheels, plus they are bada**. IMO of course.

I found the 95 cobra wheels that are the black and polished like the 03's Mr Body kits has them in 17". They are a little more than American muscle but they have them. American Muscle has them in the 18".

HOLY ****, I may have found the silver lining to this car. Those goofy looking wheels on there are Lexani. I found a set on Craigslist here in the are and they are asking $2700. Hell if I got half that for them being used I would be tickled pink.

Haha...I knew they we Lexani when I seen them. When I was younger and before I developed taste, I use to want a set for a truck I had. You should be able to sell the pretty easy this time of year, being tax time and all.

Yea, I figure if I toss them up for 1500 they will go. Slight rash but somebody who wants them bad enough will overlook that to save a grand. I knew they were Lexani but had no clue these stupid things were worth so much. The only thing that hurts me is one has some curb rash.

EDIT: did some more research. While some sell that high I think 600ish is probably more the ball park

17s don't look right on these cars at all unless its a 17" front skinny and a 15" out back with a fatass tire. I hate hate HATE my rims, 17"s make the car look like its on roller skates.

18s and a tire to get the overall diameter to 27" is the way to go if you don't want to have rubbing issues or add too much unsprung weight.
