Wheel fitment

Got an American muscle gift card with around $400 left. Gonna use it toward upgrading wheels and tires. Looking to upgrade to 18" wheels. My fox had lowering sport springs on it. What will fit on my 1989 LX foxbody?? Thanks guys

Looks like those are 17" FR500s to me. They should fit fine, AM should already have the correct back-spacing and stuff. If they don't sell wheels with a different back spacing for the 5 lug swap cars then I would just look into some 94-04 wheels

That's really cool! $400 is definitely a good start or a nice set of wheels depending on what wheels you're interested in.

I would recommend checking out the Wheel Page we have set up for Foxbody owners. On this page you can see all of the different wheel styles that we offer, Sizes/Offset/Back spacing etc.. We also have customer submitted images on every page! This will give you a good idea of what to expect with each wheel when installed on your Mustang.

18's may be a little big if you're already lowered. You may run into some slight clearance issues. I would measure how much clearance you have with your current set up and then we can help you pick the perfect size for your Fox!

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance in the near future!
