Opinions on wheels

So I normally don't care what people think but I'm wanting to switch to black wheels and I have my silver bullit sold for nearly what I paid and im switching tire size anyways so should I go with black bullit wheels 18x10 /18x8 or black amr wheels 18x10/18x8 I really like both wheels so that's why I ask keep deep dish look or go the other route

My wife thinkings it makes the car look like a muscle car. I do like the factory look so I may buy silver color amr's and go with 18's on back

From what I can see in your avatar I actually like your current silver ones better than either of those.

This is it currently silver bullits. I just figured black wheels would make the car look better. Top of the car is black

Honestly the AMRs are becoming another one I see on EVERY car along with the Bullitts and I still see 95R style every now and then but they were on pretty much every single car in the late 90s/early 2000s.

I'd probably go with the black Bullitts with the deep chrome lip. I think that would look best for an 18" wheel. I'm a huge fan of the AMR's, but I truly prefer them in a size 19" over the 18's. Just my personal preference though.

As others have said, I think you can go wrong with either. The Black Bullitts get my vote for this scenario!

I found out yesterday that the 18's will not fit so I will stay with the 19's that are on the car now

I didn't realize your Mustang was sporting Brembo brakes. I should have mentioned these wheels will only fit the regular GT brakes, not the Brembo packages. Apologizes for that!

Were you looking for better straight line traction with the 18" wheels? If you were, what tires are you currently using? A change in tread may suit you!

I was wanting to have better traction in a straight line. Hitting the gas a little too hard can put me sideways. I have the Mickey Thompson 255x40x19 fronts and 285x35x19 rear. I bought these for the 2013 Boss and decided not to use them on that car so I am using them on the Shelby until I find what I want. I am looking at the Forgestar now 19's and 20's with Falken tires

Those Falkens are not going to hook up as well as the MTs no matter what size you run.

Different compound and design. A wider tire does not automatically make you hook up better.

AMRs. The Bullit wheels are classic, but look better on older stangs. AMR wheels fit the latest body style better.

I have been looking at the silver forgestar F14 either the brushed or standard silver. What do you all think on a 2014 Ruby Red Metallic

Mmeah, I think the AMR style wheels look cheep in person. This is just my 2 cents. I was looking at them for my car but after seeing them on a friends car, I was like nope. He was not happy with them either. He has Foose wheels now.
