Tallest tire size

Trying to find out the theoretical max tire size on a 2012 stang (Boss 302 specifically). For example would a 32" drag radial fit without modification (I am thinking no). At that height, what would be the max width?

Hopefully can get some quick answers...this is the 3rd forum I've posted on and nobody seems to have an answer

Thanks all!

32" is NOT a DRAG RADIAL. NO stock Boss 302 could pull that diameter tire. The tallest Drag Radial I can find is an M&H 390/45R15 that is 29.5" and M/T has a 315/60R15 that is 29.8" There are slicks that go to 33" if you run a fuel car.

A taller tire also raises your overall effective gear ratio. You put lower gears in your car for better off-the-line performance and then couple it with a taller tire, your overall gear ratio will be higher. For example, with 3.73 gears it would be like putting in 3.5x, 3.6x or whatever, depending on what tire size you started with and then what you changed to. Just wanted to clarify that because so many people call numerically higher gears high gears when in fact, the higher the number, the lower the gear.
