New meat came in today.

Ordered from tirerack, going to be going on 18x9/18x10.5 Terminator style rims from afs. Size is 235/45/18 and 275/40/18. They are bfg comp 2s and as expected they are wide for their size so they should fit perfect. The 235s are a touch over 9" wide and the 275s are massive for a 275 at over 11". Very happy and happy with how fast they came in although it was just a state over.

Hotness. Mine are taller and thicker tho.

Glad you got the same tires, I love me some BFGs, my favorite street radial although I do eventually want to try the Mickeys. Was just worried about fitment with the 10.5" wide rear rims and these BFGs are 11" wide.

Also, make sure you get the $50 rebate card if you got them from Tirerack like I did.

SNIFF-SNIFF-SNIFF

I can almost smell those tires from here...
I love that smell...

TireRack is pretty awesome. I don't know how they deliver so damned fast.
I DID have trouble with one of those rebate cards though. I bought a set of Michelins on the last day of the $70 rebate sale.TireRack assured me that the purchase qualified for the rebate. A couple of weeks later, I received a letter from Michelin notifying me that the purchase was too late to qualify for the rebate.
But I DID recieve my $50 card when I bought my Dunlop's...

Why not go with a 315 on the rear? Also I was thinking about Nitto NT05 on my AFS Mach 1 10.5 when I get them how would y'all compair those to the Comp 2's?

The nt05 is a completely different type of tire. I didn't go with a 315 because these bfgs don't come that wide in 18s and also these 275s are 11" wide, that is wider than my nitto 315/35/17 555r drs. So depending on what brand measurement you are going with I did go 315.

These tires do run big in size that's for sure. My 275/40/17's are 10 3/4 inches wide.

Is the sidewall the same height or did that increase a bit as well?

Nope, just wider, still a 26 and a half inch tall tire give or take a few tenths. You can gander at the section width and tread width on tirerack for these BFGs vs other tires the same size and even some other BFGs and see the difference just in spec. Already have had half a dozen ppl telling me I'm an idiot for getting 235s and that tirerack's specs are wrong etc... I have already measured myself and these 235s are a touch over 9" wide at the tread so it will fit perfectly flush. They're right between a 245 and a 255 Sumi.
