Staggered 03 Cobra rims ordered

These from AFS on the evilbays. I've had AFS wheels before, 18" polished Saleens on my 95 Cobra. Quality is great, balanced perfectly on BFGs last time and these will be getting BFGs as well.

Arrived last week, have not had the occasion to post pics because I've had to get an issue resolved with one of them being blemished. AFS has been really good about all of it and I'll have a new one on the way tomorrow as soon as they get a tracking number on the one I'm returning. It happens. Anyway here is a good pic. Just have to get them mounted.

Just debating on what caps to use. Either my running ponies, leave the cobras in or get some $8 ones from AM.

Like I said I just need to decide on what center caps I'm going to use and get the rubber mounted on them.

Hey Scotty amazing wheels, they look a lot like mine. If you end up taking those center caps out, I will buy them from you. They should fit my cobra wheels.

Yeah and the more I think about it I should probably have a black center cap... I'm worried about the brushed aluminum finish not matching the matchine finish of these rims. Probably going to roll with the ponies I have and just sell the rims I have without them. If someone cries about no center caps that's too damn bad. Still looking at the black center caps with the 4.6 or whatever tho. Or maybe even a straight up black one with no logo...

Thanks, I absolutely love them. Tires are slightly stretched like I figured they would be but for the size I wanted to run with the car lowered I didn't want to go any wider and the beads should seat a little closer to the rim lip as I drive it. It really isn't bad at all and its definitely not "hella flush" or anything.

I just love how the front looks and how the wheels properly fill the wheel wells unlike the ones that were in there before. Don't get me wrong, the Bullitts were nice looking and all but these just make the car POP imho. And honestly you never see these rims ever, even on Termis they don't go to 18" Termi rims they go with something else usually. I'm just happy to have it off "roller skates" as I liked to call the 25.3 and 25.5" wheels that were on there before. These are 26.3 an 26.6" tall.

if your lowered it just a little bit more, I think it'd look perfect, but that's my opinion, not saying it looks bad! I love it

I would not lower any more in the front. I'm doing a IRS swap in the car hopefully in may/june timeframe so at that point depending on what springs I wind up with (probably stock 03 since we are swapping everything) I'll just cut a coil off the stock spring and see how that does out back till I get coilovers. I suppose I could have gone with a 27" tall tire with a fatter sidewall but I think just bringing it down a half inch will do it.

Here is a before pic btw. I honestly can't tell you how much I like it better with the Cobras than the Bullitts.

That looks great!
It is a big change from the Bullitts. It looks like they gave your car a different stance.
I'm going tonight to look at set of black powder coated OEM Cobras to put a set of R comps on.
