Will these drag radials fit my 2014

I want to put a set of MT 325/50R 15 drag radials fit a 2014 GT ?. I know they're bigger than stock but was hoping someone had tried them. I intend to put them on some Weld RT-S 10 X15 rims. 7.5" backspace. Thanks in advance!

I was looking at the same thing last week. I was sure I was going to go with the 295 MTs, but talked to a buddy of mine who's gone 11.1 with minimal mods and he suggested using the 275 50 15s with those rims, so that's what I went with. I'll tell you how they work on the track after I head over on 4-12....

BTW, from what I read 325 should fit but if you have any drop done, it will most likely rub pretty bad....seems like most ppl go with the 295 if you are looking for a 28" tire.

325/50/15 will fit. All depends on what back spacing is on the wheels.

What are your mods to be running that tire? Also what gears

Just make sure the wheels you order are #71My-510A75A.

Replace the y in the part number above with B if you want the Black chrome or with a P if you want polished. Those are the correct wheels for the 2005-2014 S197 GT and for the GT500 up to 2012.

Their pdf can be found here.

Those are the wheels I ordered. The car is an automatic. I'm going to bracket race it. I know it will kill a little bottom end. Don't really care just want the car to dead hook and be consistent.

If you are auto. Then all you need is a 275/60/15. 325 is overkill and no need

Just an FYI, I'm a stalled auto and I went with the 26" 275 50 15. My buddy used the same setup with a GT CS auto with a tune and CAI with great air when he went 11.1. Using a 28" tire will cost you some time vs a 26" in a lightly modded car IMO.

28" will depending on the gear you are using.

I'm assuming 28" tires with the stock 3.15 gear. It would have him running a little slower than a 26" tires with the same 3.15 gear. Not 1/2 a second slower but a little slower.
