Premium Factory Wheels

Am I the only one who likes the Nickel painted wheels over the Brembo wheels? I hardly see these wheels on the new Mustangs. What are Y'all thoughts?

No, you are not the only one. I don't like the brembo wheels at all.

I'm with you on the Nickle plated wheel but the Brembo wheel does come with the upgraded brakes.

Premium Factory Wheels

I prefer the nickel painted as well. Although the Brembos don't look bad.

I have the Brembo wheels right now, (my car is the bottom one). There is a guy on craigslist selling the nickel painted ones for $300. But I haven't seen them person to compare them to mine.

I have the painted wheels on my 2013 race red. They look great, but it's easy for a bonehead with a tire iron to scratch them :O!

The nickels look good but I like the Brembos, they look less plain jane and have that light to dark color contrast

I personally love the brembos, but those are pretty nice as well! I think it all depends on the overall look of the car. my favorite color with brembos is black. they don't look as good on other colors.

Chrome Wheels

The Brembos are out of the question now. I just ordered a little earlier the Staggered Deep Dish Bullitt Chrome Wheels & Mickey Thompson Tire Kit - 18x9/10.

My car came with 19" nickels. Love the look from the side. Gorgeous wheels. I just didn't care for the 50mm offset. They sit WAY too far under the fender.

I really like and my friends like my Nickle plated 19" GT wheels with Pzeros on them, but I cant get them in 10" wide for the rear so it looks like I will sell them and buy the 2010 AM GT500 wheels with the 9/10 stagger kit with Mickys.

I have about 8k on the Pzeros, what do you think I can get for the 19" Nickle wheel/tire set?

Your car looks really nice can you take more pictures from the side back and front...also what kind of appearance modifications did you do?

I am strongly considering painting my wheels black. I got quoted 275 for all 4 should i pull the trigger?

That's a tough call. I've always been hesitant about pulling the trigger on actually painting (not dipping) wheels. Once you pull the trigger, there will be no going back.

Realistically, the only colors I've liked all black on are the "wow" ford colors. (Race red, screaming yellow, grabber blue, and sometimes ghig) and even then, all the accents need to be blacked out. Usually any other car with blacked out rims looks cheap to me, but that's just my opinion.

I'm on mobile so I have seen your car yet. But I will check in a couple minutes.

As far as appearance mods in my car, I did the following.

1. CS/GT spoiler
2. Side window louvers
3. Side scoops
4. Street scene gen 2 spoiler
5. Custom side skirts
6. Chrome mustang letters

Keep in mind. 1-4 all were painted to match.

The car has not yet been lowered. I want to but I dont have a home right now so I use the drive through car washes and it clears only by about 1.5 inches. Any lower and I won't be able to clean the car anymore.

I will attach a couple of the pictures I have.

I looked for a few months b4 getting a set of the premium 19" 5 spokes with the Neros on them. great shape maybe 4k miles. NO tpms for a bit less than $600. I thought it was a good deal and drove two hrs. I would have paid +$100 with tpms. You have to find someone within driving distance and your price will vary on how long you are willing to deal with "No shows"

The Brembos are my least favorite wheel available on any 2014 Mustang. It is amazing how many options are available for Mustangs. I often think Ford should simplify things a little to save on production costs. I think I saw like 10 different wheels options in the 2014 catalog, no Import company does that.
