I always wonder do staggered wheels really help to put down the rear wheels power? Or people just like the looks? Can you feel the different between standard and staggered wheels? Beside the looks, what other benefits do staggered wheels have?
They're mostly for looks. From a straight line perspective the tire you have will have a direct effect on how you put down the power. Handling is a different story. I felt a difference in handling with a staggered setup due to having more rubber in the rear so the car tends to understeer a lot more than it did before.

I agree mainly for looks, but I can definitely feel the positive effect on handling, I'm running 275/40-17 on the front and 315/35-17 on the rear wheels are the FR500's and the tires are NITTO NT555's perfect combo for my car and myself, to each there own. Best of luck
